  The Xiamen Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau, which hosted the contest, said on the 5th that the Hokkien Doubles Competition is an important platform for the spread of Hokkien songs and even the culture of Hokkien. The bureau upholds the concept of openness and integration. The media platform cooperated in depth, launched content products such as online selection, cloud live broadcast, etc., and made efforts to build the brand IP of the "Fujian Dialogue" event.

  The theme of the competition is "Let the world hear", and it cooperates deeply with the short video sharing platform Douyin and the vertical music platform Migu Music. The topic of “Hearing Minnan Songs” was the first to spread publicity. Nearly 1,000 videos of Minnan language music were submitted, which quickly exceeded 160 million views.

  Subsequently, Migu Music released a song collection order, Migu Music APP opening screen, Weibo headlines, WeChat tweets and Douyin Challenge, Douyin APP opening screen, Douyin station internal message push and the promotion of the event in synchronization.

  The Minnan Original Song Collection Competition was officially launched in March, and more than 200 original musical works were received. Contributed songs are distributed in Xiamen, Zhangzhou, Quanzhou, Taiwan and other regions. At the same time, they also attracted submissions from overseas regions such as Singapore. Song types include pop music, Rap, and folk songs.

  The Hokkien Singer Contest was officially launched on May 1 and has so far held 5 sea elections on the Douyin platform. Since its inception, the competition has attracted more than one hundred players to sign up for the competition. The minimum age of participants is 8 years old and the maximum age is 106 years old. Most of the contestants came from Xiamen, Zhangzhou, Quanzhou and other places in southern Fujian, and also attracted contestants from Sanming, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Jiangsu and Beijing, as well as overseas regions such as Germany and Singapore.
