The idea of a reshuffle made its way to the Elysée. Emmanuel Macron could make changes in the government after the second round of municipal elections. Some ministers take the opportunity to make their ambitions known.

The government corridors are buzzing with a reshuffle project that could take place after the second round of municipal elections. Now is the time for ministers to get their message across and everyone has their own method.

There are those who let everyone know it like Gerald Darmanin, the president's darling. The new mayor of Tourcoing was encouraged to declare publicly: "I want to weigh". Clearly, the Minister of Public Accounts wants to change the portfolio, as he said three weeks ago in the JDD. We do not know what he will get but it will surely be an important ministry.

There are the discreet ones like Bruno Le Maire. He dreamed of going to Matignon, while saying that he was not interested in it, even if Edouard Philippe left. Today, he understood that he would surely not have the job. Since then, Bruno Le Maire has made it clear that he would like to keep Bercy to pilot the recovery plan at the start of the school year. In other words: if he is not Prime Minister, he will be the Prime Minister.

Another minister, another method, like Didier Guillaume, Minister of Agriculture, who criticizes his little comrades. The former socialist senator recently distanced himself from Christophe Castaner, the Minister of the Interior, on his positions on police violence, in defending the victims of racism. There, it is a question of obtaining the label "seen well on the left" in the event of a turn decided by Emmanuel Macron.

All have the same objective: to be heard at the castle, because they know that their fate will be sealed in the coming days.
