The government of national understanding regains control of the entire Libyan capital. The situation in Libya is feverishly followed every hour in neighboring Tunisia. In a lapidary formula, the digital Tunisia Internet platform sums it up by pointing out that "  Haftar's forces lost the battle of Tripoli  ", while a cheering crowd gathered last night on the Place des martyrs for celebrate the victory against the forces of Khalifa Haftar driven out completely from Tripoli.

However, underlines this Tunisian Internet site, “  although passably weakened as well on the military plan as political by these various reverses on the ground, Haftar always keeps assets by controlling most of the territory, in particular the Eastern region and the majority of the South and part of the Center which concentrate the most important oil deposits. In addition, complete digital Tunisia, (General Haftar) still has the generous support of the Emirates, the unconditional support of Egypt in addition to the importance of its Russian ally in political coverage at the level of the Security Council of United Nations  ”.

Samuel Wazizi assassinated?

This question in Cameroon: the journalist Samuel Wazizi died in detention? The national journalists' union of Cameroon and Reporters Without Borders, in any case, are convinced of this.

However, "  the government of Cameroon remains silent on the subject," emphasizes Actu Cameroon . So far, no reaction from the Minister of Justice, patron of prisons, even less, that of defense strongly involved in the English-speaking crisis. Even (…) the government spokesperson, Minister of Communication, has not yet spoken publicly on the subject. In this cemetery silence, the Network of human rights defenders in Central Africa makes a small proposal to the old lion regime: (…) that Yaoundé (…) organize (…) an interview between Samuel Wazizi, the members of his family and his lawyers to confirm or deny his death,  "notes Actu Cameroon.

So, yes, is Samuel Wazizi dead? The Burkinabe daily Le Pays , for its part, has little doubt. Samuel Wazizi "  finally died during his detention,  " said the Ugandan newspaper. Who wonders "  who benefits from the crime  ",

Never being served as well as by himself, Le Pay hastens to answer his own question: who benefits from the crime? To Paul Biya of course. Indeed, it is he who has an interest in gagging journalists so that they stop dealing with the facts that take place in (the) (English-speaking) part of Cameroon  ", where a"  human tragedy "is unfolding  , states The Country. Journal according to which the best way to "  manage it (...) without the world being informed of the reality of the facts, is to silence the journalists  ".

For this Ugandan daily, there is little doubt that Samuel Wazizi "  probably suffered this fate. (…) But Paul Biya loses nothing by waiting. Because, as long as the night lasts, the day will eventually rise,  ”preaches Le Pays.
