Kylie Jenner and Kanye West topped Forbes' annual list of highest paid celebs, but sports stars including Roger Federer and Lionel Messi dominated the top ten.
Forbes magazine estimated yesterday that American reality TV star Jenner had earned $ 590 million in the past twelve months, mostly from selling a 51 percent stake in Kylie Cosmetics cosmetics line to Koti in 2019.
Jenner, 22, is a half-sister to Kim Kardashian The headlines a week ago, when Forbes said that after reviewing Coty's deal data, she no longer believed she was a billionaire as she announced a year ago.
Jenner responded that the original Forbes estimate was based on "a number of inaccuracies and unproven assumptions".
West, Kardashian's husband, came second with about $ 170 million, mostly from his deal with Adidas about his brand of sneaker Lisi.
West is also the most profitable musician, followed by Elton John who collected most of his $ 81 million profit from a long lyrical farewell tour.
Forbes said the 100 highest-paid figures combined had earned $ 6.1 billion before calculating taxes and fees, down nearly $ 200 million from 2019, after the Corona virus pandemic closed sports fields and arenas.
Swiss tennis champion Federer came in third with around $ 106.3 million, mostly from deals with companies like Japanese clothing company Uniklo and Swiss watchmaker Rolex. Football stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi were ranked fourth and fifth, respectively.
