13 Reasons Why stops after four seasons in 2020. - Netflix

Who is still interested in the fates of Bryce, Tyler and Monty? Of course, we are exaggerating; The launch, this Friday morning, of the fourth season of 13 Reasons Why remains an event, awaited by millions of fans around the world. Nevertheless, we are far from the surprise craze aroused by the series when it debuted in 2017.

Netflix has not communicated excessively around this final season and SEMrush, an online visibility analysis platform, announces that "  13 Reasons Why  is only the 6th Netflix series most googled by French Internet users ".

Polemics and weariness

The series had marked the spirits with a first season offering a reflection on harassment and suicide, but was then overtaken by controversy and was accused of aestheticizing the suicide of its heroine. The characters in 13 Reasons Why subsequently experienced many misadventures and dramas allowing to tackle different questions like rape, violence, addictions ...

And yet, on this ground there, 13 Reasons Why sometimes seems to have been "old-fashioned" by series like Sex Education , Euphoria , or the many teen shows with strong social resonance of Netflix, or even the French version of Skam.

And you ? Do you continue to follow the seasons of 13 Reasons Why with pleasure  ? What do you like or dislike about this series?
