A man was sentenced in immediate appearance to eight months in prison and imprisoned for violence against the police on the sidelines of the demonstration organized last Tuesday in Paris at the call of the support committee for the family of Adama Traore.
This demonstration, which brought together at least 20,000 people before the Paris Court, intended to denounce a "denial of justice" in the investigation into the death of this young black man in 2016 after an arrest. It had been banned by the police headquarters but maintained by its organizers.
Three adults summoned
The end of this rally was interspersed with sporadic incidents: projectile jets, tear gas, fires, demonstrators on the ring road ... In Clichy (Hauts-de-Seine), the windows of a municipal police station were smashed by protesters.
Among the six other adults who were arrested during this rally and then brought to justice in Paris, three are summoned to be tried on September 22, one of which was placed under judicial control with the ban on appearing in the 17th arrondissement, where the Court of Justice is located.
The last three have received a reminder of the law from a prosecutor delegate with also a ban on appearing in the 17th arrondissement.
