Bavaria is slowly coming back to life after weeks of confinement. In this southern German state, one of the most populous and prosperous, the coronavirus has struck hard. As of June 1, 2020, some 47,000 cases have been reported for 2,400 deaths.

Publicity

To slow the epidemic, the Prime Minister of the regional government, Markus Söder has imposed stricter measures than in the other Länder.

After the reopening of restaurants last week and hotels for the Pentecost weekend, economic activity is picking up again. However, caution is advised - compliance with the rules of distancing, wearing a mask, reduced reception capacities, - complicating the lives of professionals in the sector.
