Today, the Jordanian Ministry of Endowments announced that it distributed 100,000 masks to mosques, and 12,000 single rugs, for the purpose of distributing them to worshipers who do not bring a muzzle or rug with them. In preparation for Friday prayers tomorrow.
The ministry said in a statement today, Thursday, that it has worked to sterilize all the mosques where Friday prayers will be held, to be ready in front of the worshipers.
She added that the place of prayer was determined inside the mosque for each worshiper in order to achieve physical distance between the worshipers, pointing out that the advice of scholars and specialists confirmed that the best way to confront the emerging corona virus is physical distance. The Ministry also announced that many measures had been taken, including the provision of bags to put shoes so as not to jostle between worshipers when entering and exiting mosques, closing water coolers, and ensuring that all doors of mosques are opened when the worshipers leave; Not to overcrowding and reduce congestion.
He indicated that the Friday sermon will be short, not exceeding 10 minutes.
