  • With the explosion of its number of subscribers, Camille has put aside her passion, cooking, to devote herself to the liberation of female pleasure and the sexual education of adolescents.

They are still students or already in working life, volunteers, researchers, employees, self-employed, have set up a company or an association. Thanks to them, the future will be better. 20 Minutes has decided to give voice to young people under the age of 30 whose actions have a beneficial effect on the world of tomorrow. Second part of this series with Camille Aumont Carnel, 26, president and founder of Rules Elémentaires, the first French association to fight against menstrual precariousness.

Do not tell Camille that she is trashy. On the other hand, cash, that, yes, it is and it claims it, even. At 23, she is the creator of the Jemenbatsleclito Instagram account and the head of a community of more than 600,000 subscribers. Focused on female sexuality, this Instagram account is in its image, without complexes. "It's an extension of me. I immediately understood that to be able to tackle these subjects you had to drop the veil. This very familiar language immediately breaks down barriers, it's like talking with friends. My account says aloud what everyone has dreamed of saying without ever having dared, ”explains Camille.

Since October 2008, Camille has been telling her about her life, her intimate adventures, all these things that happen to women and that we don't usually talk about. “The idea came to me when I heard friends talking about sexuality and enjoyment. Finding nowhere content that can answer their questions, I decided to create the content that I missed, that is to say content that reassures you, which will at the same time be able to bring you answers, content that will make you laugh in an uninhibited tone and where you tell yourself that it's everyone's life, she maintains. I wanted to have the most universal conversation possible and be able to talk about subjects that we don't talk about anywhere and if we talk about it, not in this way. "

"All of the women felt like Jemenbatsleclito"

With great punch lines, Camille assumes her sexuality, her desires, talks about rules, hair, vaginismus. And internet users follow. “I think what made the account explode was that all the women felt like Jemenbatsleclito. I unwittingly responded to a need for freedom of speech without going through a thousand detours. I think it was also the right niche because I signed up for a post- #MeToo atmosphere. "

With success come responsibilities, and that was unexpected. “I remember exactly the two moments when I became aware of this. The first was when I received testimony of rape. It started with "Hello Camille, I have just been raped, you are the first person I thought of and the only one I can see myself talking about". The second is when a little 11-12 year old teenager wrote to me "Hello, I have to give a talk on an inspiring feminist figure and I chose you". There I understood that there was a real thing and that I was going to have an impact, ”she says.

"Am I normal? "

So Camille is always documenting herself more and replying with as much detail as possible to the 300 messages and questions she receives per day: “Many of my subscribers are young teenage girls who wonder about their sexuality. I have a bank of extremely precise testimonies, of a precision which one would not even dare to give to his gynecologist. But I am neither a doctor, nor psychologist, nor a lawyer. So when I don't know, I'm not afraid to say it and refer them to the right people. But more often than not, I am asked "I have white discharge, am I normal? I have one breast larger than the other, am I normal?" "

Not really impressed by the size of her community, Camille still felt dizzy when it came to making a career choice. A graduate of a major cooking school *, she left work to devote herself to her Instagram account. “I did not forget my passion, I put it on hold because I had another opportunity which was clearly fleeting. If you don't catch the niche when it's taking off, then we move on to something else. The kitchen I can clearly come back to when I want. I'll open my restaurant, ”says Camille.

Changing mentalities

But in the meantime, Camille has no shortage of projects. After the release of a first book in June 2019, she started writing a sex education book for teenagers "through the prism of Jemenbatsleclito, in the Jemenbatsleclito tone". “I want it to be a real reference manual, of those found in CDIs. Because at the level of National Education, there is not much going on, we only approach sexuality from the angle of reproduction, "she says. Camille is also working on the writing of a one-woman show, "which will be called Jemenbatsleclito on stage".

Does she feel that she is helping to change the world? The answer is yes ". “I am changing mentalities and I am making sure that women get their feet on the ground, and that is priceless. Because a woman who takes control of her sexuality, she takes control of so many things, she claims. I'm changing things, not as fast as I would like, but the way I want to. I can be crushed tomorrow, I will die serene. "

* Camille also created the Jedisnonchef Instagram account, a sort of #MeToo from the kitchen.
