Joe Exotic in "Tiger King" - NETFLIX

We know what the next episode of Tiger King will look like , if Netflix decides to write the sequel to this incredible saga. Joe Exotic, the main character of the series, was forced by justice to transfer the ownership of his famous zoo to Carole Baskin, his sworn enemy, whom he had wanted to murder.

In a decision released Monday after four years of proceedings, an Oklahoma City federal judge ordered the transfer of ownership of the approximately six-hectare site on which the zoo is located, south of Oklahoma City. The Greater Wynnewood Development Group, formerly controlled by Joe Exotic, will have to vacate the premises, "including the evacuation of all animals from the zoo," said judge Scott Palk in his decision.

Carole Bas obtained ownership of the park because the judge estimated that Joe Exotic had transferred his assets to his mother so as not to pay his sworn enemy the $ 1 million he owed him in damages at the end of a first lawsuit lost notably for damage to its brand image. Although Joe Exotic is in prison, his former partner, Jeff Lowe, had continued to operate the zoo and had just reopened it in early May after several weeks of closure due to confinement.

A colorful character who did a lot for the popularity of the series, Joe Exotic, whose real name is Joe Maldonado-Passage, was sentenced in January to 22 years in prison for attempted murder and is currently in detention. The 57-year-old made an official pardon request to Donald Trump in early May.

He attacked Carole Baskin, defender of the animal cause and critic of her methods, in particular the excessive reproduction of felines, the possibility for visitors to pet them, as well as the ill-treatment which led to the death of several animals. . The seven-part documentary, Tiger King , was one of the most watched programs in Netflix history. The platform announced in late April that in one month, 64 million subscribers had seen all or part of the series.
