For the second consecutive day, Health has not registered new deaths from Covid-19 on Tuesday. The total figure stands at 27,127 deaths , the same as on Monday and Sunday. 34 of those deaths have occurred, according to official data, in the last week.
What is striking is that this Tuesday the Principality of Asturias has reported 6 deaths in its territory and the Community of Madrid , another 12, which are added to 11 on Monday. The Minister of Health of Castilla y León, Verónica Casado, has stated that she does not understand the figures of the Ministry and that the total amount has not changed when several communities have confirmed new deaths.
As for infections, the official figures released this Tuesday by Health specify 137 cases diagnosed in the last 24 hours. More than half of them, specifically 73, are located in the Community of Madrid. With them, the total number of people infected by the coronavirus stands at 239,932 (compared to 239,638 reported on Sunday).
