The Minister of Health reviewed, during a meeting held by the Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, with the medical group to discuss a number of files regarding procedures for dealing with and addressing the spread of Corona virus, where she clarified that there are 6 provinces that have witnessed the highest prevalence of the disease, namely Cairo, Giza, Giza, Qalyubia, Menoufia, Fayoum and Alexandria.
The Minister of Health indicated that these 6 governorates were registered as of May 30 in general, 15415 confirmed cases, while the total number in the whole country until the same day was 23,449.
According to data from the Ministry of Health, Cairo Governorate ranked first in this list with 7111 cases, followed by Giza Governorate with 2,629 cases, then Qalyubia with 1787 cases, Menoufia with 1533 cases, and Fayoum with 1277 cases, while Alexandria Governorate came in sixth place with 1,078 cases.
On Sunday, the Egyptian Ministry of Health announced that the highest numbers of infected and deceased people with the Corona virus were recorded on a daily basis since the outbreak began in the country, with 1536 cases and 46 deaths reported.
