“According to preliminary calculations, in less than three days, about 185% of the monthly rainfall, which in May totals 51 mm, has already fallen in Moscow,” Interfax quoted the representative of the Moscow Weather Bureau as saying.

Earlier it was reported that the inhabitants of Moscow in early summer expects a cold snap. The temperature in the capital, according to weather forecasts, already on Sunday, May 31, will begin to drop. 

Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov commented on the situation with flooding in several municipalities amid heavy rains.
