Deconfinement continues in National Education. Minister Jean-Michel Blanquer indicated this Thursday the new measures implemented in schools concerning phase 2, which will come into force from June 2. On the one hand, all schools in mainland France will reopen, knowing that 82.5% of primary schools have already been opened, a "figure that is increasing every day" according to the minister, and that 90% of municipalities have chosen to reopen schools in recent weeks. The "target is 100% by next week".

"All families who wish to must be able to send their children to school for at least part of the week," added Jean-Michel Blanquer.

For colleges, they will reopen from 6th to 3rd in the green zone. But in the orange zone, they will only host the 6th and 5th in priority.

No oral French

All of the high schools will reopen in the green zone, to accommodate students on at least one of the three levels. In the orange zones, the professional high schools will reopen, for the final and CAP students. As for the general high school in the orange zone, there will be a welcome upon convocation for very small groups.

In addition, Jean-Michel Blanquer announced that this year there will be no oral exam of French bac for high school students. "I heard concerns about an exceptional situation which led to uneven preparation" for this test. It will therefore be "validated by continuous monitoring", said the Minister.
