The Hakkoda Ropeway, located in the Hakkoda Mountains of Aomori Prefecture, which had been temporarily closed due to the effect of the new coronavirus, resumed operations from the 21st after taking measures against infection such as limiting the number of passengers, but on the 22nd. The Hakkoda Ropeway, which is located in the Hakkoda Mountains, near the summit and foot of Mt. Tamohadake in Aomori City, was closed from the 16th of last month due to the new coronavirus. Has resumed operation.

Upon restarting, passengers were asked to wear masks, and before each flight, staff members would disinfect the handrails and seats of the gondola.

Also, for ventilation, windows are always opened during operation, and the passenger capacity is usually limited to 100 to 30 people.

According to the operating company, more than 100 people visit each day to enjoy fresh greens every year, but there were no passengers between 21st and 22nd noon when the service resumed.
