New York State Governor Andrew Como said in a press briefing today that the number of countries that reported cases of rare inflammatory syndrome associated with Covid-19 disease and infecting children increased to nearly twice in the past week to 13 countries.
Como added that New York, which has taken a leading role in tracking the syndrome called "inflammatory multi-system syndrome" among children in the United States, is one of 25 US states that have reported cases of infection.
