It's an album full of complex feelings. The first volume of an intimate diptych which tells us about the discovery of sexuality in a young girl, with its procession of fantasy, worry, anxiety, sometimes terrifying representations. Because this girl does not come from any family. She grew up in a practicing Christian family, a bit out of the world and out of reality, in which these things are not said, except by blushing and sweating profusely when you have no choice.

This family is that of Florence Dupré La Tour. She had already staged it in an autobiographical first cycle, centered on her relationship with animals. "Beginner", the first part of this story entitled  Pucelle  has just been released by Dargaud.

Report : Amélie Beaucour investigated the discovery of sexuality in little girls of Florence Dupré La Tour's generation, through the readings or cartoons that punctuated their childhood.
