Nearly seventy firefighters intervened to extinguish a fire that broke out on Monday, late afternoon, in a warehouse in Lillebonne (Seine-Maritime), near Le Havre, reports Paris Normandie . Fire soldiers from across the department were dispatched to the scene. It took more than three hours to come to grips with this disaster which affected the Ponticelli company, a subcontractor for industries "of oil and gas, energy, chemistry, pharmacy and of the steel industry ".

According to a statement from the prefecture, "two adjacent cells of 800 square meters have been preserved from the fire".
