The Laroque-des-Albères school, which was closed as a preventive measure on Monday, was able to reopen on Tuesday. On Sunday, a family member of an agent from this commune had presented clinical signs that could suggest contamination with the coronavirus.

He had since been waiting for the tests carried out on Sunday in Perpignan. As a precaution, the mayor of this town, located about thirty kilometers south of Perpignan, Christian Naute, had decided to close the kindergarten and primary school on Monday.

"This procedure will be systematic in case of suspicion"

The tests were ultimately negative and the establishments reopened on Tuesday.

"In order to avoid any risk for children or teachers, this procedure for closing and reopening schools will be carried out each time there is a suspicion of Covid-19", specifies the town hall.
