A first in the Bouches-du-Rhône department. The mayor of Bouc Bel Air, Richard Mallié signed a decree making it compulsory to wear a mask in his commune. "The wearing of the mask is compulsory in the public domain and establishments likely to welcome the public from the moment the premises are incompatible with the requirement of physical distance from a minimum meter," the municipality said in a press release. Children under the age of 11, or those capable of proving their immunity by a serological test are exempt from this obligation.

The mayor undertakes that the fines for not wearing the mask in the amount of 38 euros be transferred to the IHU of Professor Didier Raoult. “The freedom of some stops where that of others begins. The residents of Bouc Bel Air must be able to move without fear of the laxity of others, ”says Richard Mallié. He said he feared a relaxation of the population since the beginning of the deconfinement. Masks have already been distributed, a new distribution is planned in the coming weeks.
