The Algerian Minister of Health, Abdel Rahman Bin Bouzid, revealed that an investigation has been opened into the circumstances of the death of a pregnant doctor in her eighth month in the hospital of the town of Ras El Wadi in the wilaya of Bordj Bou Arreridj, in eastern Algeria, with the emerging coronavirus.

"I commissioned the Inspector General of the Ministry of Health to conduct the investigation, and to know the motive that made this doctor work despite she was pregnant, knowing that the instructions in this framework are clear to release pregnant women from work.
