Against this backdrop, Nakajima-san's NPO opened a project shelter for pregnant women called project HOME last month.
Using a vacant rent utilization project in Toshima-ku, Tokyo, he rented and renovated a two-story house in a quiet residential area to create a place where pregnant women who drifted could be protected at any time.
