The reporter learned from the Yunnan Forest Fire Brigade on the 14th that as of 1:10 in the morning of the 14th, all the open fires in the Lufeng fire site in Chuxiong, Yunnan were extinguished, marking the end of the forest fire rescue in Anning, Yunnan.
On May 9th, a forest fire that occurred in the Shenba Dam, Shuangmei Village, Qinglong Street, Anning, Yunnan, spread to Qinfeng Town, Lufeng County, Chuxiong Prefecture at 1 am on May 12th, forming a fire in Anning and Lufeng.
At 12 o'clock on May 12, the fire in Anning fire site was extinguished. Forest firefighting and other departments put out fire fighting forces to fight at the Lufeng fire site. As of 1:14 am on May 14, the fire was extinguished.
At present, the fire scene was handed over to local guards. The forest fire brigade evacuated to a safe area overnight and began to evacuate from the fire site to the camp area at 9:00 on the 14th.
The total area covered by the forest fire was 170.1 hectares (110 hectares in Anning area and 60.1 hectares in Lufeng area). Nearly 5,800 people from the forest firefighting team, local professional firefighting team, urban firefighting, PLA and cadres, and the masses were involved in the firefighting (over 3,000 people in the Anning fire site and more than 2,800 people in the Lufeng fire site), Southern Aviation Forest Guard Station, and 2 aviation rescue teams A variety of equipment such as power and backhoe loaders are involved in the fight.
