Two years after the disappearance of Johnny Hallyday, the newspaper Le Figaro announced Tuesday that a biopic of the singer would be in preparation. Directed by Olivier Marchal, director of 36 Quai des Orfèvres , the film announced must retrace the life of the idol from his 18 years, until his death. The singer died in 2017, at the age of 74. The article also announced that the project was validated by the wife of the star, Laeticia Hallyday. But on Wednesday, the film still seems imaginary.
"Thank you for respecting our mourning"
The singer's widow denied the information completely in a press release. Laeticia Hallyday ensures that she is not aware of this biopic, and that she has therefore not given her agreement to provide information for the production of the film. According to reports, about 150 hours of interview with Johnny Hallyday were to be loaned by his former manager Michel Jankielewicz to prepare the film.

Laura Smet, the daughter of Johnny Hallyday also published a story on her Instagram account, somewhat annoyed. "I learn in the press that a biopic on my father would be in preparation !! I am amazed that it was not considered useful to warn me, or to consult me [sic]. Thank you for respecting our family. Thank you to respect our mourning. "
