Majid Al Futtaim Group has launched a car cinema from VOX Cinemas on the roof of the Mall of the Emirates, and this experience comes after the temporary closure of cinemas, and as a contribution to providing support for government efforts to resume business in some economic sectors in a safe manner.
This new experience will be available to the public from Sunday May 17, when cinema fans will be able to enjoy the magic of the world of cinema from within their cars in a comfortable and safe way.
The roof of the Mall of the Emirates, with the experience of "Car Cinema", will turn into a star-lit outdoor showroom, where evening shows will be held daily at 7:30 pm. The team will adhere to the strict health and safety measures adopted by "Majid Al Futtaim" to ensure that the safe distance is maintained at all times, and to ensure that visitors are able to enjoy an exceptional experience while achieving reassurance and peace of mind.
When parked, viewers can use the radio frequency intended to broadcast the sound of the movie directly from inside their cars. The cost of the offer for one car (two people maximum) is 180 dirhams plus VAT. The ticket includes watching the movie and a set of food and beverages for two people, consisting of popcorn flavored with caramel and salt, nachos, M & Ms chocolate, soft drinks and mineral water.
The "Car Cinema" platform of "VOX Cinemas" accommodates 75 cars, with a maximum of two people inside each car. In line with government procedures, individuals over the age of sixty and children between the ages of 3 and 12 cannot visit shopping centers or "VOX car cinema" at this time.
