"Sinn, are you OK?"

  "OK"

On May 9, Yu Danqiu, chairman of the Fujian Provincial Wushu Association Minghe Boxing Research Association, heard that Australian crane crane enthusiast Sinn Chew was ready, and he asked the students to demonstrate the "eight-step company" of Minghe Quan.

This scene took place in the Fujian Provincial Wushu Association Minghe Quan Research Association, Jianxin Dongling Village, Cangshan District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. A mobile phone connection, through the "network martial arts" method, five overseas crane crane lovers from Russia, Australia, the United Kingdom and other countries can learn the crane crane technique online.

This new crown pneumonia epidemic disrupted the plan of overseas crane crane lovers to study in Fuzhou, but they couldn't stop them from learning martial arts.

The Chinese Li Ranya was born and raised in Australia. She loved Chinese martial arts since she learned that the Fujian Provincial Wushu Association Minghe Boxing Research Society opened the "Yunminghe-Sky Class" and contacted Yu Danqiu to join in this video connection.

Through the mobile phone screen, the reporter saw that she had been staring at the picture and was studying very seriously. Li Ranya told reporters that this was the first time she learned Minghe Quan through the "air classroom", which was very interesting and learned a lot.

"Participating in the 'Air Class' is because I want to learn Minghe Quan, and since I was a child I wanted to learn Chinese martial arts. I'm glad I have the opportunity now," Li Ranya said.

When connecting, Sinn chew is also very focused. He is a Singaporean (Chinese), who loves traditional Chinese martial arts and is proficient in boxing and equipment. For decades, he has never been tired. Currently, Sinn Chew, who lives in Brisbane, Australia, has a large-scale martial arts hall, and overseas fans of Minghequan can also learn and practice in his martial arts hall.

According to Yu Danqiu, Sinn chew originally planned to visit and study in Fuzhou in the Christmas holiday of 2019. Later, he changed his plans and planned to visit after the Spring Festival in 2020. Eventually, the epidemic was suspended. He plans to visit again after the epidemic is over.

In the WeChat group, there are more than a dozen overseas crane crane lovers like them. In order to learn from Chinese masters, they all specifically registered and used Chinese online social tools. Yu Danqiu said that nowadays, the "friend circle" is constantly expanding, and many overseas fans of Minghequan are registering accounts. In the future, more than 50 overseas people are expected to be in this group.

9 year old girl wants to be a "woman hero"

In the interview, Yu Danqiu, who is over the age of three, sighed with emotion, and the future of Minghequan was on the younger generation. In the "air base", the reporter saw a little girl who had been following them, learning, kicking, punching ... following the rhythm of Master, Yu Danqiu also loved him.

"I want to be a heroine in the future." 9-year-old Zheng Shize said shyly. When Master was busy teaching online to her brothers and sisters overseas, she took out the coat that her parents prepared for her and put on it. She said that her parents were afraid they would catch cold.

It is understood that after his work, Zheng Shize's father followed Yu Danqiu to learn Minghe Quan, and sometimes returned home to teach Zheng Shize to fight. By chance, Zheng Shize's father took her to the clubhouse to play. Unexpectedly, she was caught by Yu Danqiu. "I think this child is very talented, so let her learn." Therefore, Zheng Shize's parents often sent their children to the club to practice boxing.

"The child wasn't eating well and didn't expect to be hungry every day." Yu Danqiu told reporters that he only allowed Zheng Shize to learn some basic skills and at the same time build up her willpower, so that she could endure hardship in the future.

Zheng Shize told reporters that she is not very good at practicing now. She will work hard. When she grows up, she will work as a martial arts coach and teach others to learn crane fist.

There is a lot of success in life. In the interview, Yu Danqiu, who is over the age of three, said with emotion: "Now that we are older, the inheritance and promotion of Minghequan must be done by young children."

Minghe fist is "flying" to the world

Minghe Quan is the only branch of the Hequan system that incorporates Luohan Quan. It has a history of more than 300 years. According to records in the ancient book "Okinawa Seibubeshi", Japanese karate originated from Minghe fist technique. Earlier, when a person related to Japanese karate returned to China to recognize his ancestors, he also set a remarkable monument in Fuzhou.

Yu Danqiu said that because of the popularity of karate in the world, Minghequan has also been spread abroad. Looking back at the Chinese people, they lack basic knowledge of their martial arts, which deserves my deep thought.

The reporter learned in an interview that Li Ranya knew Minghe Quan because she learned that karate originated from China's Minghe Quan when she was studying karate in Australia. From this we can see why Minghequan is so popular overseas.

In fact, the "air course" can also be regarded as Yu Danqiu's attempt to make Minghe fist "fly" to the world. In May 2019, he began to try to use "network to spread martial arts" to enable Minghe Quan lovers from all over the world to learn and practice.

Prior to the site relocation, he put this method on hold. Affected by the epidemic, overseas people were unable to study on the ground. Yu Danqiu decided to regain this method in April. The third class of the "air course" was conducted that day.

The "air course" that day was held in the new hall of the Fujian Provincial Wushu Association Minghe Quan Research Association. Recently, the new hall has become an "air base" for Chinese and foreign martial arts exchanges. Yu Danqiu said that in 2019, the old museum will need to be abolished due to local demolition, and the hall will be moved to its current location. "Because it has just stabilized, it has not been laid out yet."

It is worth mentioning that, in addition to owning a new hall, this spring, the Fujian Provincial Wushu Association Minghe Boxing Research Association also re-certified by the Fujian Provincial Wushu Association after an interval of five years and was awarded a membership of its unit.

Yu Danqiu said that now, the older generation of Minghe boxing masters are applying as consultants for the research society, the new research organization members are rejuvenated, and there are even a new generation of martial arts inheritors who return to China. They will undertake and develop more domestic Foreign martial arts exchange activities, and overseas lovers of crane cranes have a brand new "base camp" for learning crane cranes.

Xu Lanyu, the inheritor of Fuzhou's "non-legacy" Minghe fist and head of Wenwutang, is one of Yu Danqiu's new generation of martial arts inheritors who returned from studying abroad. In this "air classroom" teaching, he has been assisting Yu Danqiu to communicate and communicate with overseas crane crane lovers in English to help them understand the boxing skills displayed by Master.

Xu Lanyu said that he had studied in New Zealand before, so it is okay to communicate with overseas teachers and brothers in English without obstacles. Previously, it also used Wenwutang as a platform to organize many Chinese and foreign exchange activities. He hopes to teach martial arts, promote excellent Chinese culture, and spread the spirit of martial arts all over the world.

Today, Minghequan lovers are gradually spreading all over the world. Through the Internet, Minghequan "air classroom" has become a special landscape for Chinese and foreign martial arts exchanges. This is what Yu Danqiu is happy to see.

He said that Minghe Quan is going to the world and he is very confident. "My father's generation, it has already prevailed in Southeast Asia. Now in my hands, it has 'flyed' towards Europe. In the future, Minghe Quan will go further and further."
