La Poste said on Monday that it had extended its device for selling masks "to associations, micro-entrepreneurs, liberal and agricultural professions". The “masques-pme.laposte.fr” platform, accessible since May 2, was originally intended for ordering washable fabric masks by small and very small businesses for their employees.

In total, 30,000 structures with fewer than 50 employees have already purchased 1.3 million protections, said a statement from the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

Masks reusable 20 times

Since Monday, 9.4 million businesses or additional liberal workers have now the possibility of connecting to the dedicated site. As for the other structures, the device aims to "favor the resumption of economic activity in the context of a gradual deconfinement of the country". Organized by the Ministry of Economy and Finance with the help of La Poste, CCI, CMA and Chambers of Agriculture networks, the sale of these masks contributes to compliance with the usual precautions against the spread coronavirus.

These “general public” masks, reusable 20 times, are available in sets of six at a price of 17.80 euros excluding tax or in sets of 40 at a price of 92.50 euros. It is not possible to mix the two types of lots. Each company can only place one order every 15 days or ten working days. The total number of items ordered each time may not exceed two masks per employee over the period.
