At around 5:30 pm on the 12th, the boy's grandfather reported to the fire department that a boy was caught in a tractor in Shin-Kanayama, Toyama City.
When fire fighters rushed to the house, Kotaro Miyamoto (3) in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo (3) was under the tractor and was taken to the hospital, but died about an hour later.
According to police, the scene was near his grandfather's house and the accident happened while he was driving a tractor to plow the fields.
At that time, Kotaro-kun was close with his 5-year-old sister, so the police accidentally approached the tractor and are looking into the details.
