  According to Ciren Sangzhu, deputy leader of the Mount Everest 2020 mountaineering team, the road construction team was unable to get through the route to the summit due to unsatisfactory weather conditions. Today, it is ready to descend to the advance camp at an altitude of 6,500 meters.

  At 13:30 on May 11, 25 transport team members had transported some supplies to the assault camp at an altitude of 8300 meters. At 12 o'clock on May 12, another 12 transport members transported the remaining materials to the assault camp. At this point, the transport missions of the assault camp have been completed, and materials are prepared for the climbing team to climb to the top.

  Ciren Sangzhu said that he learned from the villagers of Tashi Zong, who lived at the foot of Mount Everest, that there was no snow in Mount Everest last winter, and it did not start to snow until April this year. "The weather in Mount Everest this year is a bit unusual compared to previous years. The wind is strong and the snow is heavy, which has a certain impact on climbing Mount Everest."
