Publicity

It is the third time that we have received her on this program. She came to talk to us about her "English novel" which plunged us into the Great War, and a little later about her ailurophilia with her Praise of the Cat . She also shared with her readers the daily life of an author in residence, with The animal and her biographer and a story about the tattoo entitled Sang Ink . And here it is, exploring a new literary territory, the time of a Japanese narrative which, by combining the raw violence of the samurai saber and the spring poetry of the cherry blossom, brings us into the mind of a suicide bomber. Second World War. Pacifique , by Stéphanie Hochet, was published by Rivages editions.

Chronicle "Déconficulture" by Amélie Beaucour:
In France, deconfinement begins today (May 11, 2020). The opportunity to tell how the cultural players will resume their activities. Amélie Beaucour was interested in the production of podcasts, audio books and other sound fiction. In short, everything we could put in our ears - apart from the music - during our confined days. Their productions were disrupted during this health crisis and the return to normal is not expected for a little while.

Report:
This is one of the great victims of the coronavirus: it is quite simply called "Steve McQueen", after the name of the British artist. It was to be held at the "Tate modern" in London until May 11, 2020, will it or not be extended, can it be visited when the sanitary measures are lifted, or will it be sacrificed? We'll find out soon. The Museum in any case presents it as the first major exhibition of Steve McQueen's works since 1999. Marie Billon was able to visit it for us before the coronavirus fell on the British capital.
