The department of Rhône being classified green, life will be able to resume little by little its course in Lyon and in the neighboring cities from Monday, May 11, date of deconfinement. Consequently, the parks, squares and gardens of Lyon will reopen "gradually", indicates the town hall. And "with great vigilance" taking into account the caution still imposed.

Posters reminding the respect of the sanitary instructions will be affixed at the entrances of the parks and in the alleys. Playgrounds or fitness areas will remain closed. Regulars of the Tête d'Or park will have to wait until Wednesday to get there. And there again, respecting the rules imposed: groups of more than 10 people will remain prohibited, as well as access to the zoo, the botanical garden and games for children.

Still too many people on the markets?

Regarding the food markets, the reopening will also be gradual throughout the month of May to avoid crowds of consumers. Thirteen of them had already benefited from a waiver as of May 4 to resume service. But the results "are mixed," said the town hall, having observed "a large concentration of consumers". The prefecture does not rule out taking closure orders again if it is found that the health and organizational rules have not been observed.

In the meantime, 10 markets, deemed "priority" will open in turn on Monday: Croix-Rousse organic in the 1st arrondissement (Saturday morning), Carnot (Wednesday afternoon), Monchat and Place Henri in the 3rd (Wednesday morning), Flammarion in the 4th (Friday morning), Benedict Tessier in the 5th (Friday morning), Mongolfier (Friday morning), Fourcade (Thursday afternoon), Belleville (Sunday morning), Barbusse (Sunday morning) and Balmont Duchère (Saturday morning) ).
