After six years of excavation, the archaeologists of the Xinjiang Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology have basically determined that the Shichengzi site in Qitai County, Xinjiang is the old site of "Sule City" where Geng Gong was stationed in the Eastern Han Dynasty. Historically, soldiers of the Eastern Han Dynasty fought here fiercely against the Huns, and a number of heroes such as Geng Gong and other famous youths emerged. Now, with the efforts of archaeologists, this silk town, which has experienced bloody storms, has regained its true identity.
