Zoe Kravitz has quite a mixed memory of the Divergent trilogy , released between 2015 and 2017, in which she portrayed the role of Christina. By his own admission, dystopian frankness got a bit lost on the way, and it must be admitted that it did not stay in the annals.

“These films, with all due respect, were not my favorites among the ones I made. I think that, as time goes by, the story really got lost along the way. Nobody really knew what we were doing anymore, which makes things really difficult. I'm happy to play in a film if I know what we're doing and why, but once you've lost sight of it, it becomes very difficult, ”admitted the actress for the podcast Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard.
Green background and big heat
For Zoe Kravitz, the screenwriting mistakes were all the more difficult to manage as the shooting was done entirely in green screen and in conditions far from optimal. The three films were shot during the summer in Atlanta, Georgia, and the heat was sweltering in the studios.
Despite honorable results at the box office, the negative reviews received by the last two films pushed the studios to make a cross on the fourth episode which was to close the plot inspired by the eponymous novels. A series project had been mentioned before being buried.
