Hunan Qidong Public Security Organ Investigate and Handle a Drug Abuse Case
Xinhua News Agency, Changsha, May 9 (Reporters Bai Tiantian and Tan Chang) Recently, a deputy director of the Shidong County Cultural Museum in Hunan Province died of drug abuse after drinking. The reporter learned from the Propaganda Department of the Qidong County Party Committee that, after verification by the public security organs, on the evening of May 2, the deceased Shi Moujun (female, 40 years old, from Qidong County) and his friends had a total of 10 people who sang, drank and drank drugs after the meal. In the early morning of the next day, Shi Moujun was sent to Qidong County People's Hospital due to convulsions and died after rescue.
At present, the other nine drug-related personnel have all been brought to justice, and the public security organs are investigating the case in depth. The Qidong County Commission for Discipline Inspection has launched a party discipline and government review of the public officials involved in the case.
