Ordinary high school enrollment should be coordinated and arranged at a moderate scale. The plan for a public ordinary high school is based on the "Beijing Elementary and Middle School Conditions of School Conditions" (Beijing Education Policy [2005] No. 8), with no more than 45 students per class. At the same time, it is necessary to adapt to the comprehensive reform requirements of Beijing's college entrance examination, combine with the adjustment of national curriculum plans and curriculum standards, promote class-based teaching, meet the needs of students' independent course selection, and ensure school classrooms and teaching equipment.

Exam arrangements

The examinations for the enrollment and cultural courses of senior secondary schools are unified by the Beijing Education Examination Institute. The total score of the cultural course for the entrance examination is 540 points.

Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run schools and projects approved by the Municipal Education Commission, and continuous training projects, etc., may participate in early enrollment in accordance with the spirit of the approval documents. Secondary vocational schools may include 60% of the school ’s total enrollment in advance enrollment in accordance with the school ’s major settings and enrollment requirements.
