Marion Creusvaux, actress and co-founder of the Instagram account @Creustel, was the guest of La France bouge on Europe 1, Friday, to talk about the success of the parodies performed with her husband during confinement.

If the confinement has frustrated millions of French people for two months, it has also revealed a few nuggets on the internet. Starting with the Instagram account @Creustel, the work of the actor couple Julien Pestel and Marion Creusvaux. The latter was the guest of La France bouge , Friday, and outlined the future of this chain of small parodies: "Our pellet will continue a little after confinement", she assured.

"At first, it was to amuse my friends"

It all started on Wednesday, March 18, the second day of confinement to fight the coronavirus. Marion Creusvaux and Julien Pestel, who work for television productions in normal times, publish a short parody of a scene from the Godfather 2 , in which Al Pacino readily accepts traffic restrictions.

"It's pretty crazy, we didn't expect it," rewinds Marion Creusvaux on Europe 1. "At the start, it was to amuse my friends, and there was a buzz. But we had to keep up. " Then the couple decides to make a parody every day or every two days.

To date, 40 videos of one or two minutes have been published on the @Creustel account, "dubbing and nonsense to pass the time". Some stand out, such as the one staging Professor Raoult's fake laboratory, in the midst of a controversy over the use of chloroquine to treat the virus.

"We were inspired by current events," says Marion Creusvaux. "There was a lot of inspiration about what people are going through, those who work on the front but also people who are confined, like us, and who go around in circles."

Eight weeks later, this "little escape for a minute a day" found its audience, and even a little more: "We were contacted by different channels", says the actress, happy to see the pastille continue after the lifting restrictions. Even if, of course, "we will be happy to continue working with cameras, and not to be confined anymore".
