The Lingshi County Fire and Rescue Brigade dispatched two batches of search and rescue forces to climb the mountain for search and rescue overnight. Eventually, with the cooperation of the Lingshi Blue Sky Rescue Team, the trapped tourists were safely rescued at 23:00 on the same day.
On the 5th, three young tourists from Fenyang City, Shanxi Province entered the Red Cliff Canyon Scenic Area in Lingshi County. At 13 o'clock, when they passed the undeveloped splint ditch area, they saw a prompt not to enter, and suddenly the idea of "expedition" came into being. Later, they did not have the ability and experience of outdoor adventures, and they went into the mountains on their own without the necessary items such as flashlights, food, and water.

The mountains in the Jiabangou area are steep, and there are several cliffs. Looking up from the pedestrians, it looks like "a line of sky." At 17 o'clock, three tourists saw the sky getting darker, eager to go down the mountain, but they couldn't find the way they came when they came. In a hurry, they can only call 110 for help.
At 18:07, the police transferred to the Lingshi County Fire and Rescue Brigade. The team leader Zhao Wei immediately assigned Zhang Junwei, the instructor of the county's fire and rescue station, to lead 7 firefighters to form the first rescue echelon.
At 18:39, the first rescue echelon completed the assembly at the splint ditch into the mountain pass, carrying 4 sets of rescue ropes, rescue belts, U-shaped hooks, flashlights, walkie-talkies, satellite phones, bottled water and portable food, officially entered under the guidance of the guide mountain.
One of the difficulties that must be overcome when entering the mountain from the splint ditch is to pass a cliff. Originally, there was a trail at the cliff, but it was broken later, and there is water here, and the stone is covered with moss, which is very smooth, and a little carelessness will cause rescuers to fall off the cliff.

"Give me a rope. Everyone will protect it below. I will go up first. When I put down the rope, everyone will climb the rope again." Under the protection of his teammates, Zhang Junwei struggled to climb a platform in the middle of the cliff and found a fixed Fasten the rope after the support point to help the other team members and the guide climb up in sequence.
"The difficulty of mountain rescue at night is mainly reflected in the difficulty of determining the specific location of the trapped people." Zhang Junwei introduced that they accurately judged their location in the San Gong Temple area based on the WeChat positioning sent by the trapped tourists. During the march, fire and rescue personnel repeatedly shouted three trapped tourists, and the other party could respond after hearing the shout. Even so, the members of the fire rescue team walked around in the jungle for more than an hour, only to find that they had gone the wrong way. It was not until 21:15 that they found three trapped tourists who were cold, hungry, and thirsty, took out food to replenish their physical strength, and took off their fire rescue clothes to protect them from the cold.
During the march of the first rescue echelon, which was at 20 o'clock, the second rescue echelon led by Zhao Wei reached the mountain pass of Jiabangou. In addition to fire rescue personnel, the echelon also has members of the Lingshi Blue Sky Rescue Team and hospital emergency personnel. After comprehensive research and judgment, it is not appropriate to return to the mountain route after finding the trapped person, and other paths are needed.
Coincidentally, Li Zhengzhong, the director of the Fire Rescue Station in Lingshi County, grew up in a village near the Red Cliff Canyon Scenic Area from an early age and is very familiar with the mountain terrain. To this end, Zhao Wei decided that Li Zhengzhong and a member of the Lingshi Blue Sky Rescue Team would follow the first echelon route to the mountain, and then lead the first echelon personnel and trapped tourists around the other path down the mountain.
At 21:50, the two echelon rescue forces finally met. Under the guidance of Li Zhengzhong, everyone walked in the forest for more than an hour, and at 23 o'clock on the road inside the scenic area for vehicles to drive. At 23:30, the trapped tourists returned to the scenic tourist center. After checking by the medical staff, the trapped personnel were in good health.
The fire department reminded that tourists must pay attention to the content of the relevant signage in the scenic area when they are playing in the scenic area.
