Sixty-year-old man in Zhejiang lured two young girls to commit obscenity and rape with snacks and was sentenced to seven and a half years
Linmou, a sixty-six-year-old man in Yongkang City, Zhejiang Province, used snacks to trick two young girls aged 6 to 8 years old, and brought them home to commit obscenity and adultery. On April 24, the China Judgment Documents Network published the first-instance verdict for this case of sexual assault on children. The People ’s Court of Yongkang City, Zhejiang Province sentenced Lin to six years ’imprisonment for rape; Years, decided to carry out imprisonment for seven years and six months.
The verdict shows that on the afternoon of November 17, 2019, Linmou deceived with snacks on the plaza of the Great Wall Old Village in the Economic Development Zone of Yongkang City, and brought the 8-year-old girl Luomou and the 6-year-old girl Zhengmou playing back to their location in Yongkang City home. Later, Lin used molesting and kissing to molest two girls and commit adultery.
In addition, according to the statements and identification records of Luo Mou and Zheng Mou in the judgment, the two met Lin during the afternoon of two or three days before November 19, 2019. Lin said that they took them to play at home and turned on the TV. Show them, give them something to eat, and then take them to the bathroom to take a shower. Later, Lin took Luo and Zheng to bed to commit obscenity and adultery, and gave them two yuan each in two afterwards. They told them not to speak.
On the afternoon of November 19, 2019, Lin took Luo and Zheng back to their home again in the same way to molest the two. Later, Luo and Zheng met their family members on their way home, and informed parents about the incident.
After the case, Zheng and his guardian received a compensation of 21,000 yuan from Lin ’s family, expressed his understanding of Lin, and requested that he be given a lighter punishment. During the hearing of the case, Lin confessed that he had molested Luo Mou and Zheng Mou twice on November 11, 17 and 19, 2019 respectively, but denied that they raped the two.
After trial, the People's Court of Yongkang City found that the statements of the two victims unanimously confirmed that Lin had raped the two, supported by witness testimony, and Lin's argument was not accepted. Lin knew that the two victims were young girls and still committed rape and indecent behavior. The behavior had already constituted the crime of rape and indecent assault. The charges prosecuted by the public prosecutor were established and supported. Lin can confess truthfully the crime of molesting a child, and give a lighter punishment according to law.
The People's Court of Yongkang City accordingly sentenced Lin to a fixed-term imprisonment of six years on April 14, 2020 for rape; sentenced Lin to a fixed-term imprisonment of three years for indecent assault; and decided to execute a fixed-term imprisonment of seven years and six months.
