Public health France counts 17 new confirmed cases this Tuesday, which brings the total to 4.752 since the beginning of the epidemic (29 cases previous to May 3 were identified this day). As a reminder, these figures do not include all of the Covid-19 untested people identified by city medicine. 567 people are currently hospitalized, 102 of whom are in intensive care or intensive care (- 1 compared to the previous day). Since the start of the epidemic, there have been 336 deaths among those hospitalized. Finally, 1,529 people left the hospital cured.
This Tuesday, 140 Ehpad are concerned by a situation of Covid-19 confirmed or suspect among residents or the staff, that is to say 15,6% of the Ehpad of our region. Since the start of the epidemic, 122 people have died in accommodation facilities for dependent people in the region.
