As the Metropolitan Police Department proceeded with the investigation, a suspect Nobuharu Takahashi (80), who lives in the next room, was arrested on the suspicion of attempted murder, as he slammed into a man's room and cut his neck with a kitchen knife.

He said to the investigation, "I cut it because it was noisy in the next room even at midnight."

In Tokyo, even on the night of the 4th, there was an incident in an apartment in Adachi Ward that the next room was noisy and stabbed the neighbor with a knife and died.
