What will the next world be made of? What lessons will we learn from the epidemic? Will the solidarities and reflexes of a day last forever? If the post-epidemic era remains a great mystery, everyone agrees that we will live differently. The City of Toulouse offers its residents to "imagine the world of tomorrow" by launching an online platform on which they can deposit their thematic contributions.

"The idea is to allow the people of Toulouse to contribute to the national, European and global debate on our future model of society," explains the Capitol. After June 14, the day the platform closes, the ideas will be "transmitted" to Emmanuel Macron, to all the political parties that sit in the National Assembly, to the President of the European Parliament and to the President of the European Commission.

Local settlements and better-off hospitals

Through the very first ideas submitted, the Toulousains imagine a world where children would leave in colo close, where hospitals would no longer have to cut corners on their budgets and where there would no longer be traffic lights at right of way sparkling, just the reflex to always give priority to walkers.

The town hall specifies that the operation will stop on June 15 "to avoid any confusion with the electoral context". But, whatever the date chosen for postponement of the municipal election, we suspect that the programs will be adapted to the post-Covid context. And that this platform could be a source of inspiration for candidates.
