What is certain, however, is that the mother of this little boy gave birth in the aisles of a hypermarket of Antibes, Monday evening. A Smur team and five Antibes firefighters helped with this unusual birth to say the least, says the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (Sdis) of the Alpes-Maritimes.
It was around 7:30 p.m. at the Carrefour d'Antibes shopping center when this pregnant woman, who came to refuel in this last week of confinement, was contracted. Too late for a delivery in a maternity service, the emergency services had to organize to accompany the work directly on the spot.
And it was only after the mother and baby were presented that the two were able to be transported to the hospital to recover from their emotions.
