Sheikh Muhammad Mahmoud al-Tablawi, captain of the Holy Quran Readers in Egypt, died today evening, Tuesday, age 86, after a struggle with illness.

The union explained that the deceased would be spread to the family graves in Al-Basatin area in Cairo tonight, and that the matter will be confined to his family only, and there will be no consolation, due to the current circumstances.

Sheikh Al-Tablawi was exposed to a health problem, as a result of which he entered a Cairo hospital, and he stayed there for about 10 days.  

Al-Tablawy was born on November 14, 1934, and tells about his birth that his grandfather preached to his mother that the one in her stomach would be the memorizers of the Noble Qur’an. A year ago, he became famous from his time until he became competing with the most important reciters of the Qur’an in his era, and he did not exceed the age of 15.

The late one of the most famous readers, and tormented them with a voice, and circled around the world as a reader of the Book of God, and he gained a reputation that exceeded the borders of Egypt and the Arab world, and the Holy Qur’an recorded recitation.
