In France, after the deconfinement and the generalization of the wearing of masks for the whole population, mountains of highly sensitive contaminated waste will be added to those of hospitals which must already be treated every day with great caution. But what dangers do these potentially infected masks run? Response with Jeff Squalli, president of the company Ecodas, specialist in hospital waste treatment machines.

“  Above all, you should not throw away your masks with normal waste and especially not in the street. I think we should isolate them in special bags and once the bag is full, we should find a place to collect this kind of waste with infectious risk  ”.
