The expression is taken up both by Le Figaro and by Liberation this morning ... And it applies to the start of the school year, supposed to start for some students, in a week.

For the past few days, "  school principals have been doing math," notes Liberation . How to keep 15 children in 50 m² classrooms, without them meeting other students in the corridor? What sidewalk length is needed to hold a line of parents, each spaced a meter apart, who will hang around to drop off their toddlers? And 280 children who must go to wash their hands a dozen times a day, when there are 5 or 6 sinks in the school… How many hours will it take? The resumption of class Tuesday, May 12, promised by the President of the Republic, is an insoluble puzzle, saysLiberation, for teaching teams, for town halls which are responsible for school buildings and extra-curricular time… and for parents, who find themselves having to choose. The government may repeat like a gimmick that the school will reopen - 'a matter of honor', said Blanquer - it will only resume for a few hours a week, the newspaper still pointed out. And still, not everywhere. Above all, it will not look like the school the students know at all. The sanitary rules, imposed in a protocol published Sunday, finished making the equation impossible.  "

A question of "honor"?

La Dépêche du Midi returns to this expression used by Jean-Michel Blanquer: the reopening of schools, "  a question of honor  ": "  mayors, who today find themselves very concretely destitute in the face of the impossibility of rearranging their classes or to have the personnel necessary to respect the deconfinement measures would undoubtedly have preferred that one speaks about the only question which is worth, that of health security… The small sentence of the minister is registered, estimates La Dépêche, in the long series communication hiccups started with the shortage of masks and which no doubt explain why the executive, unlike its European counterparts, is severely judged by the French: 62% of them are thus not satisfied with the management of the file coronavirus.  "

Le Figaro is just as circumspect: "  to solve the impossible equation with which it is confronted, the government pretends to lend to the school extraordinary powers of which the parents, them, know it perfectly deprived ... And it is legitimately qu 'They are worried, with the mayors, about this funny' discernment 'to which the government invites them today when it does not succeed itself. Fables that it all! Exclaims Le Figaro. The truth is that, if it is necessary to break out of confinement, no one today exactly controls the health risk engendered by the opening of establishments, but that everyone measures, if they wish, the subsidence that represents the education of hundreds of thousands of children, a lasting eclipse of the institution.  "

Rush on the masks!

Also on the front page, the masks now distributed since yesterday in supermarkets ...

We can finally buy some,  " exclaims Le Midi Libre.

Rare and coveted masks  ," notes Le Courrier Picard.

Indeed, La Provence develops , “  the Grail race took a new form yesterday morning. After having seen the caregivers benefit, sometimes drop by drop, the communities order them before being requisitioned by the State, the mayors unearth them in small packages and the pharmacists deliver them as one distills a strong alcohol, the French looked for their masks in supermarkets. Guaranteed rush from the early hours of the morning for those who had not opted for the D system, house mask or seamstress in the neighborhood. With more or less luck.  "

Less than more, moreover, the shelves were quickly emptied ... "We  must therefore try again today, still points La Provence. But in a France worn out with chasing after masks that are too invisible and where, according to a note from the Ministry of the Economy, weekly needs amount to 375 million units, the controversies follow one another without end. "

Controversy especially on the price of these masks, notes the newspaper ... "  With a surgical mask at 60 euro cents, if we count that it takes three a day to do things correctly: for four people, that makes 7.20 euros per day, so we are over 200 euros per month.  "

Saved by the llama?

Finally, question asked by Le Parisien : "  What if the llama protected us from the coronavirus?" Could the most famous postilloner of the animal species be our savior? The very serious American scientific journal Cell is preparing to publish a study by American and Belgian researchers which would invite us to think that the llama is indeed a promising avenue for overcoming the pandemic. This affable camelid, native to South America, would be able, according to the authors of the study, to produce a type of antibody hitherto unknown, managing to play the role of shield. The researchers even claim to have isolated these antibodies, Le Parisien points out again , which opens the way to further research in laboratories, even to a trial on humans.  "

In short, what happened by an animal, the pangolin or the bat, could therefore be stopped by another animal, the llama? We would like to believe it ...
