The "Macao International Dragon Boat Race 2020" is hosted by the Macau Sports Bureau and the Macau Dragon Boat Association of China, and is co-organized by the Macao Municipal Services Department and the Public Administration Bureau. The event is open for registration from May 6th to 12th, and will be available when the quota is reached.
Pan Yongquan, director of the Macau Sports Bureau, introduced at the press conference that due to the impact of the New Coronary Pneumonia epidemic, the tournament organizing committee decided not to invite foreign teams to participate in Macao this year. Macau Dragons (Open Group, Women's), Macau Public Institutions Dragons, Macau University Students' Dragons Open and Macau Dragon Boat Standard Dragons (Opens, Women's). The event budget is about 10 million patacas.
The organizing committee of the competition stated that in order to meet the needs of epidemic prevention, this year the organizing committee will implement a series of measures during the practice period and during the event.
