She is the daughter of a doctor whom we welcome today to VMDN. One of the greatest French voices of the beginning of the 21st century, a honey-voiced soprano who wanted to be an English-speaking interpreter before giving free rein to her artistic vocation which will dedicate her to lyric artist of the year at the Victoires de la Musique Classique in 1999. Noticed by William Christie in 1987, she joined Les Arts Florissants and remained faithful to the baroque repertoire for a long time, in particular with the countertenor Gérard Lesne. She will then meet the conductor Jean-Claude Malgoire, with whom she will perform Mozart, will triumph in "Don Giovanni" at the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence, under the direction of Claudio Abbado, and will come to approach the classic and modern era. His latest album takes us to the discovery of music from the end of the 19th century.
