The case was tried in the Hong Kong District Court on May 4, and the defendant pleaded guilty to a crime of riot in court. It is reported that this is the first demonstrator in the "Rituals" to acknowledge the riot.

  On June 12, 2019, radical demonstrators caused trouble in Admiralty, preventing the Hong Kong Legislative Council from considering the "Fugitive Offenders Ordinance" draft. The defendant Xian Jiahao admitted to throwing debris such as helmets, ice cream cones and umbrellas on the police line of defense that day. He was on the front line of the mob at that time, contending with the police line of defense. The police used tear gas to disperse the demonstrators. Although most of the thugs left the scene, the defendant remained behind and threw umbrellas and other debris to the police several times. Finally, he was uniformed and arrested.

  The case was postponed until May 15 and sentenced. According to the relevant laws of Hong Kong, once the conviction is committed, the maximum sentence is 10 years ’imprisonment.
