Cyril Hanouna, in 2019. - PIERRE-OLIVIER / C8

C8 takes the “box game” out of the closet. The Canal + group's channel is relaunching Take it or leave it on May 18. The show, hosted by Cyril Hanouna, will be broadcast Monday to Friday at 8:15 p.m. and live.

The concept of this game show is always the same - and always as simple: a candidate must open boxes, containing winnings of very variable amount and up to 250,000 euros, in order to keep only one for win the sum it contains. Unless he prefers to opt for the offer of the "banker" seeking to bargain with him.

Ile-de-France residents from all over France

The show however adapts to the context of the Covid-19 epidemic. If the twenty-four candidates gathered on the set will be from all over France, they will however all be residents of Ile de France. The press release ensures that "health security measures and regulatory distances" will be respected.

Take it or leave it is the adaptation of a Dutch concept. It was first presented by Arthur on TF1 between 2004 and 2010, then by Julien Courbet on D8 (former name of C8) in 2014 and 2015.
