Even during confinement, solidarity remains active between the twinned municipalities. The small village of Kermaria-Sulard (Côtes-d'Armor) has just come to the aid of its Alsatian counterpart in Muhlbach-sur-Munster (Haut-Rhin) with whom it has been paired for almost 30 years. To support the Meyer-Hunzinger farm, whose only income comes from the famous Alsatian cheese and who found themselves facing great financial difficulties due to the confinement, the twinning committee and the town hall of Kermaria-Sulard thus launched an appeal to order by solidarity.

A call that has been widely followed since the cheese dairy "was able to sell some 500 kilos of Munster and Saint-Grégoire thanks to this tremendous mobilization," rejoiced on Facebook the mayor of Muhlbach-sur-Munster, Patrick Althusser. The first part of the order arrived last week in Brittany.
